Bodies for Assessment and Evaluation
Quality is an organic part of the Scuola Normale, and this can be seen in its “assessment culture” with the resulting presence of distinctive groups.
The International Advisory Committee is an international scholarly committee which functions as a consulting group.
The Assessment Board periodically measures the ongoing efficiency of the structures and services and the output of the administrative and technical management. This is done in consideration of the resources invested and using standard parameters and/or criteria distinctive from those of other universities.
A proposal for indicators and assessment criteria calibrated to the particular reality of the “Scuole Superiori” operating under special statutes has recently been elaborated. This proposal has been sent forward jointly to the National Committee for the Assessment of Universities by the two special-statute institutions operating in Pisa, the Scuola Normale Superiore and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.
