Associate Professor academic discipline FIS/07 - Applied physics
Public competition for the recruitment of one Associate Professor, under art. 18, par. 1 of the Law 240/2010, in the Classe di Scienze matematiche e naturali, academic field 02/D1 – Applied Physics, Physics Teaching and History of Physics, academic discipline FIS/07 Applied physics.
Description: The applicant will be expected to: teach students within academic discipline of Applied physics (FIS/07) in the Scuola’s ordinary and specialization courses and in the other didactic activities that the Scuola may from time to time organize in accordance with the statute of the Scuola, within annual organization. He is also expected to be the supervisor of PhD students, to organize dedicated events and workshops, and to lead research groups, at the national and international level; carry out autonomous research activities in the field of molecular biophysics. Concerning the scientific and educational purposes related to the teaching and the lines of research activated at the Scuola, the professor will work within the experimental biophysics research with particular attention to the development and the application of advanced methods of optical imaging or drug delivery.
