Public competition for the recruitment of one Full Professor, under art. 18, par. 1 of the Law 240/2010, at the Institute of Human and Social Sciences of the Scuola Normale Superiore, Academic Recruitment Field 14/D1 – Economic Sociology, Sociology of Work, Urban and Environmental Sociology; Academic Discipline SPS/09 – Economic Sociology and Sociology of Work and Organizations
Description: The applicant will be expected to: teach students within academic discipline of Economic Sociology and Sociology of Work and Organizations (SPS/09) in the Scuola’s ordinary and specialization courses and in the other didactic activities that the Scuola may from time to time organise in accordance with the statute of the Scuola, within annual organisation; supervise and coordinate research groups within the analysis of the relations between state, society and market.
He/she will also tutor and supervise Master's degree and PhD thesis, organise seminars and conferences and coordinate research groups in national and international projects. Finally, he/she will carry out autonomous research activities in the field of economic sociology with particular attention to the analysis of the relations between state, society and market.
